Privacy policy

What this site collects, why it collects it, how long it is kept and how to get it removed. Last updated March 2, 2026.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller of the personal data described in this policy is MLJ, SASU, the company that publishes SeasonTuneUp. The registration details of that company are listed on the legal notice. The person accountable for privacy questions is Jimenez Julien, publication director, reachable at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com. Every request described further down goes to that same address and is answered by a person.

What this website collects

This marketing website has exactly one place where you can hand over personal information, and that is the request form in the contact section of the home page. Nothing else on the site collects data about you. There is no account creation, no login, no chat widget, no comment area and no newsletter signup.

When you send the form, the following fields are transmitted and stored:

  • name: the full name you type in the Full name field.
  • email: the work email address we reply to.
  • company: the shop name you enter.
  • role: the job title you pick from the list, such as Owner, Service Manager or Dispatcher.
  • request: what you are asking for, being a demo, early access or a quote.
  • size: the truck count band you select for your business.
  • message: the free text you write about how you track renewals today.
  • consent: the record that you ticked the consent box before sending.
  • bot-field: a hidden anti spam field that should stay empty. If it is filled, the submission is treated as automated traffic and discarded.
  • form-name, subject and recipient: hidden technical fields that route the message to the right inbox.

The form submission also carries the technical metadata that any web request produces, including the date and time of the submission and the IP address the request came from. That metadata is generated by the hosting layer, not by a tracking script, and it is used only to identify and block abusive automated traffic.

Why we collect it, and on what legal basis

The only purpose is to answer you. We use what you send to reply to your question, to prepare a demonstration of the product against the kind of agreement book you described, and to keep a record of the exchange so that a later conversation does not start from zero. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not score you, and we do not use your message to train any automated system.

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation the legal basis is your consent, given when you tick the consent box, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry addressed to us. Under United States state privacy law the processing is a straightforward business purpose: responding to a request you initiated. You are never required to send the form. Writing directly to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com works just as well and gives us less information.

Who processes it

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify Forms, a service of Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, which also hosts this website. Netlify receives the submission, stores it in the site dashboard and forwards a copy by email to the address listed in the recipient field. That email is delivered to a mailbox controlled by Jimenez Julien. No other company receives your submission. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising, and we do not pass it to advertising networks, data brokers or resellers.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third party analytics cookies. There is no Google Analytics tag, no advertising pixel, no heat map recorder and no social media tracker on any page. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests the font files from a Google server and that server sees the request, and the small amount of JavaScript on this site runs entirely in your browser without sending anything anywhere. Traffic volume is read from aggregated server logs that do not build a profile of an individual visitor.

How long it is kept

Form submissions are kept for twenty four months from the date you send them, then deleted from both the Netlify dashboard and the mailbox. If your enquiry turns into a customer relationship, the correspondence is kept for the life of that relationship and for three years after it ends, which is the period we may need it for accounting and contractual reasons. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we delete it sooner. Automated submissions caught by the anti spam field are discarded immediately.

International transfers

MLJ, SASU is established in France and Netlify, Inc. is established in the United States, so a submission sent from the European Union is transferred to the United States. That transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, which are part of the data processing terms Netlify makes available to its customers. If you are in the United States, your submission stays with a United States processor and is accessed from France by the person who replies to you.

Your rights

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, state privacy law gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to not be discriminated against for exercising any of those rights. California residents may also ask for the categories of information collected and the categories of parties it was disclosed to, and may designate an authorized agent to act for them. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, there is no opt out of sale or of targeted advertising to offer you.

If the GDPR applies to you, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, and you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting what was lawful before you withdrew it. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, which in France is the CNIL.

To exercise any of these rights, write to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com from the address you used on the form, or describe the submission well enough that we can find it. We answer within thirty days, and usually within two business days. We may ask one clarifying question to make sure we are handing the right data to the right person. There is no charge for a request.

Children

SeasonTuneUp is a business product for HVAC contractors and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen years of age. If you believe a child has sent us information through this site, write to the address above and we will delete it promptly.

Security and changes to this policy

Traffic to this site runs over HTTPS, and the mailbox that receives form submissions is protected by two factor authentication. No system is perfect, so we keep what we collect deliberately small. When this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and material changes are described in a short note at the top for at least sixty days.
